Creating an olfactive ambiance begins with the selection of a vessel. Rattan sticks dipped in perfumed concentrate arrange naturally with enough space to allow the scent to pervade the room. The glass stopper seals the vessel to stop scent diffusion at will.

Every detail, every facet demonstrates perfectly mastered glass working expertise. Diptyque's glass Fragrance diffusers are produced in Normandy, northern France, using flameworking technique and then finished off with the iconic oval, the Maison's signature.
__Crafting the mould__ | The glassworker produces the mould according to designs drawn by the Jean-Marc Gady studio for Diptyque.
__Blowing the glass__ | The glass is poured into the mould and blown into the desired shape—the molten glass takes form under the intensity of the heat. *The 100 ml and 200 ml bottles are made using automated processes, while some of the steps involved in creating the 2 L bottles are handled manually.*
__Cooling and polishing__ | The glass is left to cool, then the necks of the vessels are cut, trimmed and polished to slough away imperfections.
__Ensuring integrity__ | Glassworkers check each vessel manually.
__Applying the logo__ | Finally, each vessel is embellished with the Diptyque logo via pad printing.
